Elephantitis of the Mind
Elephantitis of the Mind is a webcomic created by Asher Sarlin that updates sporadically, and very rarely, as of mid-2007. The archives are still fully functional, and is waiting for people who want to look upon the world through Asher's eyes. This is another surreal/everyday comic that tackles important topics such as what the world would look like if orange juice didn't taste bad after you brushed your teeth(awesome) or what the afterlife looks like(probably a third grade trapper keeper from the nineties). Sarlin doesn't focus too much on fancy or detailed art, which is perhaps why his comics are so unique. His perceptions need a medium to travel through in order to communicate, and Paint allows them to do so. Many of Asher's comics are autobiograhical, and the others may as well be. Definitely worth the time - Check it out. |
