Wigu
Wigu, a webcomic by Jeffrey Rowland, chronicles the epic tale of the "luckiest boy in the world," Wigu Tinkle. Paisley is a horrible goth with her occassional bursts of happiness; these bursts allow her to hate herself, so it all works out in the end. Wigu's mother is Romy, who doesn't let her inability to parent get in the way of telling them what to do all the time(when she isn't drunk). Romy is the breadwinner of the family, but noone really cares. Wigu's father, Quincy, is far less authoritarian than Romy, and might decide the kids need to drive their very brightly painted van to a music contest instead of going to school. Quincy also beats the crap out of things that anger him. If he's not busy composing music for pornography, which he frequently is busy with. Quincy can even beat up and kill a bunch of Loch Ness Monsters, so he pretty much rocks the house. Topato, a poison yellow potato with ultra strength and any other power, tries to help Wigu now and then by deleting realities and messing everything up. It never works out! Topato is a big ol' jerk, and apparently the only thing that can beat the snot out of Quincy. Sheriff Pony, Topato's sidekick and ineffectual moral guide, tags along and watches Topato mess everything up. Paisley hit Sheriff Pony once while driving, and Wigu was pretty sure that was God's way of letting Paisley know that Wigu should control the radio. Sheriff pony poops ice cream. Hugo is Wigu's O.G.(original gangsta) kid friend, who hates Wigu's other friend, affectionately termed "Stupidetta McPrissyPants." Together, they form Captain PLANET! No wait, they form Wigu. Which is better than Captain Planet anyway. |
